Drew Uplinger

Drew's responsibilities include leading the operations and program execution of IIS, ensuring performance and delivery excellence across the company's portfolio of Intelligence Community and Department of Defense contracts, and building the operational infrastructure to support continued growth. With more than two decades of leadership in the national security sector, Drew is known for scaling complex organizations and delivering on demanding national security missions; he believes that disciplined execution and strong teams are what turn strategy into performance. He joins IIS from Peraton, where he most recently served as acting President of the Space & Intelligence Sector with profit-and-loss responsibility for a ~$1.9 billion portfolio of space and intelligence programs and a workforce of 7,000. Earlier at Peraton, as Vice President and General Manager of an Intelligence Community portfolio, Drew grew the business unit from ~$200 million to more than $500 million in annual revenue. As Vice President for National Programs, he led significant growth across systems engineering, integration, and military intelligence programs, capturing the $1 billion NEE contract and positioning the business on the SIA-3 and SITE-3 vehicles with $22 billion of available ceiling. Earlier in his career, Drew led large-scale systems engineering and integration programs supporting the National System for Geospatial Intelligence. Drew holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, and is a graduate of an executive Program Manager Development Program.
