Corporate Recognition
- National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation for implementing significant improvements in data exchanges with International Partners
- National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation for data validation and correction efforts that enabled the closure of the Information Systems Task Force
- Certificate of Appreciation for exceptional service from the Director of NGA
- In recognition by the customer for leadership, technical competencies and the willingness to assume responsibility for conducting a major Agency program’s complex Readiness Review. The Readiness Review was put back on schedule and was successfully conducted. The customer acknowledged the leadership and engineering rigor that overcame the challenges several times in award fee write-ups. Awards specific for this activity listed below:

- The United States of America National Intelligence Community Meritorious Unit Citation for a major Program related to BRAC
Integrated Intelligence
- An Integrated Intel Solutions (IIS) Senior Advisor to the Advanced Campaign Cell (IC/ACC) provided critical support on complex activities integral to achieving IC-wide Integrated Intelligence objectives. The IC/ACC Director praised the exceptional value and contributions of the IIS employee writing”…has provided stellar efforts against a primary campaign for the ACC. Her interactions with the entire intelligence community and Agency levels have created participation for the IC.ACC beyond our expectations. Her ability to support the IC/ACC from a collection viewpoint has been of tremendous help to our new role of our campaign.”
- In recognition by the customer for leadership, technical competencies and the willingness to assume responsibility for successfully conducting a major Agency program’s complex Readiness Review after being brought in to put the Readiness Review back on schedule. The customer acknowledged the leadership and engineering rigor that overcame the many challenges awarding the team The United States of America National Intelligence Community Meritorious Unit Citation.
- An IC Agency Certificate of Appreciation was awarded in recognition of an affordable interim solution to sustain critical capabilities in the event of a major mission-critical system outage. A system engineering Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) study was completed resulting in delivery of this interim solution mitigating an Enterprise risk that enabled for the time required to successfully transition to a new, major system.
- An IC Agency Team Achievement award was received by the Lead of the Design Adequacy Assessment Team in recognition for outstanding and dedicated systems engineering guidance leading to a successful design review for the Agency.
Advanced Systems Engineering
- An Integrated Intel Solutions consultant was brought in at the government’s direction to fix a program that had failed its Initial Requirements Review. After leading a series of deep dive requirements technical exchange meetings the IIS consultant was able to present the government a baseline that closed on both the mission needs and IT needs. After completing the recovery of the failed program, the IIS consultant authored the RFC to coordinate enterprise wide the revised baseline and place it under CM control.
- In 2011, a small group of contractors and Government employees began exploring the possibility of leveraging Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) within NGA. This team of four people, of which Integrated Intel Solutions was a part of, climbed the mountain of resistance to adoption of agile by educating other contractors and GPOCs. Within a year of the teams efforts, the use of agile spread like wildfire throughout the agency. From there, the Agile Engineering IPT stood up and the rest is history.
- In response to collecting customer submitted needs to the agency, an Integrated Intel Solutions consultant played an instrumental role in the development of the “Requirements Front Door” process that consolidated six different methods of receiving and adjudicating submitted needs. The standup of the Requirements Front Door streamlined processes, increased customer satisfaction and was adopted by the agency as the enterprise process for internal and external customers to submit their needs to the agency.
- The SI Organization and the Program Management Office (PMO) for the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence Systems Integration (NSG SI) wish to take this opportunity to recognize Aspiration Software Employees for their outstanding contribution to the program.
Information Assurance and Cyber Security
- Agency Business Systems (ABS) would like to extend our appreciation for the outstanding work done by IIS on the Single Portal Integrated Response via Information Technology (SPIRIT) Team.The SPIRIT Team was nominated for the ABS Integration Award. This annual award is granted for fostering improved integration and collaboration practices across ABS that result in new streamlined business processes and/or applications.
The SPIRIT Team, in partnership with ABS’ Lombardi Team and numerous Enterprise IT partners, effectively executed a new and integrated approach for the development and ultimate delivery of the pilot SPIRIT webtop. In order to achieve the ambitious and technically challenging goals envisioned by the Directorate of Support’s Support Forward Strategy, the SPIRIT Team created an integrated design, development and deployment Team from across the Agency. The integrations/partnerships are far reaching and have streamlined business processes and provided significant return on investment (ROI). This integrated and collaborative team approach provides an exemplary model for future development and deployment programs that will follow to achieve success.
- IIS’ team received Software Development Team of the Year (2009)
- Our engineer was the lead test engineer for the program and spearheaded a major test process/tool evaluation for the program that lead to improved test processes that increased the quality of the system and the efficiency of the project resources.
- The IIS efforts at constructing a new staff structure were sound and well-regarded. Further, your breadth of intelligence community experience served to educate critical staff at various crucial times. I thank you for your time and patience in providing me critical background as I stepped into this new environment two and half years ago. I admire your application of personal values to this marketplace; it is a source of fresh air and I personally thank you for the example you set and seek in your employees at IIS. Your technical judgment is superlative; your data modeling and design instincts superb. Your advice was always helpful, and usually right on target – the best that I could have hoped for. I appreciated your willingness to tackle difficult issues and drive them to ground. You are a credit to your company, and to our teaming arrangement. I have definitely felt we were an integrated team where the contractor partnership was transparent and invisible, as it should be.
- We wish to inform your company of your staff’s exemplary support to the DI/Business Information Strategy Program. During the fourth quarter, IIS demonstrated a “can do” attitude and technical creativity by leading the development of an innovative proof of concept. Currently, there is no easy mechanism for analysts to pull several pieces of related content (to include multimedia) together into an informal narrative to share with their colleagues. Your staff collaborated with officers from the Business Information Strategy Program to better understand the requirement and, interacted with technologists to craft a potential solution that could demonstrate its potential within a two-week time frame. Despite skepticism and intense pressure, IIS was able to deliver a capability that exceeded expectations.
